For comparison, previously in the first quarter of 2021, the Indonesian economy contracted 0.74%, then began to experience positive growth of 7.07% in the second quarter of 2021. Positive growth also continued in the third quarter of 2021 at 3.51%, as well as in the fourth quarter of 2021 which grew 5.02%.
Based on BPS records, the Indonesian economy based on the amount of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) based on current prices in the first quarter of 2022 reached Rp 4,513.0 trillion and based on constant 2010 prices reached Rp 2,818.6 trillion.
On a YOY basis, in terms of production, the transportation and warehousing business sector experienced the highest growth of 15.79%. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the component of exports of goods and services experienced the highest growth of 16.22%.
