The National Police are currently working on the suspicion that Fahmi Alamsyah was dragged into the case of Brigadier Joshua.
Expert Advisor to the National Police Chief for Public Communication, Fahmi Alamsyah, has resigned from his post after allegedly being involved in the death of Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier Yosua. "Yes, I politely resign. The letter has been submitted today to the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo," said Fahmi when confirmed, Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
Fahmi Alamsyah is suspected of being dragged into the case of Brigadier Joshua. Allegations of Fahmi's involvement emerged during a press conference on the appointment of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo as a suspect.
"So the first question (about Fahmi Alamsyah's alleged involvement) was that we were investigating, the team is working," said National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo at the National Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
Fahmi Alamsyah realized that this case was very sensitive and attracted public attention. Therefore, he did not want to burden the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and his expert advisors after his name was rumored to be involved.
Fahmi Alamsyah has had a career as an Expert Advisor to the National Police since the position of Chief of Police was held by Police General Idham Azis taking office in 2020.
Fahmi was appointed along with 16 other people as Expert Advisors, each in charge of a particular field. Meanwhile, Fahmi took part as an Expert Advisor to the National Police in the field of Public Communication.
He was appointed as one of the expert staff on Tuesday (21/1/2020) through the National Police Chief Decree Number KEP/117/I/2020. (antara, medcom)
