The initial assessment stage in 2022 is targeted to cover 20 thousand ASN and 40 thousand ASN in 2023.
The government will start the assessment process for the state civil apparatus (ASN) which will be moved to the Nusantara Capital or IKN this year.
"All of the people are currently being assessed, so how about it, anyone," said the Minister of National Development Planning (PPN) / Head of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Suharso Monoarfa, Monday (11/07/2022), at the Complex Presidential Palace, Jakarta.
Suharso added that the transfer of the ASN would be carried out in stages.
"I don't think it's immediately like that. What is important is the determination that IKN can then function as the nation's capital, hopefully we can confirm it by 2024," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Public Relations, Legal, and Cooperation Bureau, State Civil Service Agency (BKN), Satya Pratama said that BKN was mandated to carry out ASN assessments that would be transferred to IKN.
"This mapping/assessment of potential and competence (talent mapping) will target ASN in a number of central government agencies, namely ASN of ministries/agencies with duties and offices in the Special Capital Region (DKI) Jakarta and surrounding areas," said Satya quoted from the BKN website. , Wednesday (13/07/2022).
Satya revealed, BKN through the ASN Competency Assessment Center is preparing two main stages in the ASN assessment process towards IKN. First, compile and develop an instrument or assessment method that will be used to map the potential and competence of ASN in accordance with the demands of competency needs on IKN. Second, prepare the mechanism for implementing the ASN assessment which is planned to be carried out in stages and divided into five clusters.
"The closest target is that BKN will carry out competency mapping/assessment for ASN central agencies who enter the first cluster and so on according to the scenario of the transfer stages set by the government," he said.
Satya said that during the initial stage of competency mapping/assessment in 2022 to 2023, the target is 60 thousand ASN, including 20 thousand ASN in 2022 and 40 thousand ASN in 2023. (Setpres, photo: illustration)
