10 Nduga Papuans Killed in Attack by KKB Egianus Kogoya

Dirreskrimum Polda Papua Kombes Pol Faizal Rahmadani said 10 civilians were killed in an attack by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Nogolaid, Nduga Regency, Papua.

"The KKB led by Egianus Kogoya injured 11 civilians, 10 of whom died," said Faizal Rahmadani in Jayapura, Saturday, July 16, 2022.

When carrying out the attack, in addition to shooting, the perpetrators also used sharp weapons. A total of 11 people were injured, 10 of them died and have now been evacuated to Timika.

Air Force Commander Yohanis Kapiyau Lieutenant Colonel Pnb Slamet Suhartono said the evacuation of the victims used four fleets, namely one plane and three helicopters belonging to the TNI-Polri.

The fleets that were deployed to evacuate the victims were an airplane belonging to Rimbun Air, a Caracal TNI-AU helicopter, a Bell helicopter belonging to Penerbad, and a Police helicopter.
