Komnas HAM Says Human Rights Violations are Getting Stronger in the Case of Brigadier Joshua

"The longer it gets, the brighter it gets. The stronger the human rights violations related to the obstruction of justice."

Commissioner of the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) for monitoring and investigation Choirul Anam said Komnas HAM found strong indications of human rights violations in the case of Brigadier Joshua.

Chorul Anam stated this after he finished examining Bharada Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu (RE) or E at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit, South Jakarta.

"The longer it gets, the brighter it gets. The stronger human rights violations are related to obstruction of justice," said Choirul Anam at a press conference at the Komnas HAM Building, Central Jakarta, Monday, August 15, 2022.

Anam said indications of human rights violations were pocketed after hearing Bharada Eliezer's statement. However, he did not reveal any details that were conveyed by the aide, former Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

However, Anam said that human rights violations and obstruction of justice occurred starting from the story in Magelang, Central Java.

Anam stated that all the information in the bag had been tested with documents, photos, and conversations obtained. The data was juxtaposed with confirmatory materials and documents found previously.
