I ask that the Minister of Agriculture immediately carry out a zoning lockdown, a lockdown in the region so that the transfer of livestock from one place to another or the movement of livestock from district to district, especially from province to province, can really be prevented," said Jokowi when giving directions at a Cabinet Meeting. Transmission of this disease rarely occurs to humans, such as the SARS-Cov 2 virus that comes from bats to humans and swine flu and bird flu that can jump to humans.
The Minister of Health said that he had discussed with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Animal Health Agency regarding oral and nail diseases in these animals.
"Especially for the mouth and nails, this virus is only present in animals with claws, so it is very rare for it to jump to humans.
